SOS Balkanroute, a Vienna-based human rights and humanitarian aid organization, has been actively fighting the plight of refugees along the Balkan route since 2019. Inspired by the work of musician Petar Rosandić, aka Rapper Kid, the organization has garnered the support of 37 Austrian civil society organizations.

A Network of Support

SOS Balkanroute provides a lifeline for refugees traversing the treacherous Balkan route. With the help of its numerous partners, including the Ute Bock Verein and Aktivistinnen, the organization has organized 54 aid transports and collected countless material donations.
