Chelsea thrash West Ham 5-0

Chelsea strengthened their chances of securing European football next season as they cruised to a comfortable 5-0 victory over West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Blues dominated from start to finish and took the lead in the 15th minute when Cole Palmer fired home from close range. Conor Gallagher doubled the lead just before the break with a stunning strike from outside the box.
Chelsea continued to press after the break and Noni Madueke made it 3-0 in the 55th minute with a neat finish. Nicolas Jackson then added two more goals in the space of five minutes to complete the rout.
The win moves Chelsea up to seventh in the Premier League table, just three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur. West Ham, meanwhile, remain in 18th place, just one point above the relegation zone.
