American Idiot Turns 20, Dookie Turns 30

Green Day is celebrating two major album anniversaries this year. Their 2004 album American Idiot turns 20, and their 1994 album Dookie turns 30. To mark the occasions, the band has announced a series of special events, including a reissue of American Idiot and a new tour.

American Idiot 20th Anniversary Reissue

The 20th anniversary reissue of American Idiot will be released on November 22, 2024. The reissue will include the original album, as well as a number of bonus tracks, including unreleased demos and live recordings. The reissue will also be available in a variety of formats, including CD, vinyl, and digital download.

Saviors Tour

Green Day will embark on the Saviors Tour in 2025 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Dookie. The tour will begin on January 10, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will conclude on March 25, 2025, in Mexico City, Mexico. The tour will feature a setlist of songs from Dookie, as well as other hits from Green Day's catalog.
