Crew SC Celebrates Historic Victory

Columbus Crew SC claimed the MLS Cup on Saturday, defeating FC Dallas 3-1 in a thrilling championship match. Gyasi Zardes led the Crew's charge, scoring two goals in the first half to give his team an early lead. Lucas Zelarayan added another goal in the second half to seal the victory for Columbus.

First Half Dominance

The Crew dominated the first half, controlling possession and creating several scoring opportunities. Zardes opened the scoring in the 15th minute, heading in a cross from Zelarayan. Just 10 minutes later, he doubled the Crew's lead with a powerful shot from inside the box.
